Regardless of whether you love sports or not, there are lots of cool such things on display in Vancouver over the next few weeks while we host the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Monday, February 1st, 2010

Just before the New Year, Cowie and Fox launched Lili Blossom, an online beauty retail boutique. You can find the most amazing gifts for others and a little indugence for yourself too! Lili Blossom features a unique variety of products with beautiful scents as well as unscented for sensitive skin. You’ll be able to find something perfect to suit almost anyone you’re shopping for.

One of my favorite lotions is Malie. When you open the bottle it’s like a mini tropical vacation inside, it’s fragrant, but not too strong (i’m one of those people that doesn’t like perfumed products). I was also impressed with how it softens the skin. Definately a must have product!

Pantone reveals colour for 2010

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

Turquoise, the 2010 Color of the Year, is PANTONE 104-2-3 C in Goe and PANTONE 3258 C in PMS.

“Turquoise inspires thoughts of soothing, tropical waters and a comforting escape from the everyday troubles of the world, while restoring our sense of welllbeing.” (via Pantone.com)

I’m loving it, it’s probably one of my most favourite colours, especially for home decor.

One Cool Banana

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

I was about to eat a banana the other day and much to my amusement it’s regular sticker had been replaced with a very cool, toothless, Mexican wrestler. I was a bit confused how it got there because it seemed way too cool for a banana company to dream up.

Mexican Wrestling Banana

So I went online and dug a little deeper and sure enough it’s a campaign for Chiquita Bananas – http://www.eatachiquita.com.

Banana Decals

I never really liked bananas as a kid, but I bet if they were this cool when I was young I would have eaten a lot more of them.

Home Sweet Home

For those of you who always wondered what our studio looks like, here it is.

When we moved in there was a huge long cutting table down one end and offices at the other. We cleared everything out and now have 3000/sf of open studio space in the heart of Yaletown. Our desks hang from the ceiling and they sway just enough so that we all get in touch with our inner surfer.
