Letterheads – Past and Present

Letterheads… you know, that piece of paper people use to represent themselves, or their company via snail mail or fax. Sure, not too many people actually use them in 2011, (atleast in actual print format), but I do think they’re making a comeback, along with letter writing, but that’s a whole other topic of interest that needs to be discussed in the near future.

This wonderful little gem of a website shows off letterheads from the 1900’s, right through to the 80’s and into the 2000’s. It’s a great source of inspiration if you feel like your letterhead designs are in need of a refresh.

Ever wonder what Marylin Monroes Letterhead looked like? Or Dr. Suess?

Check out Letterheady.com for design inspiration.
