Vancouver Whitecaps: New logo
Today the Vancouver Whitecaps revealed their new logo. It’s much more modern, clean, contemporary and “pro.” The reflected peaks can also be interpreted as V’s for Vancouver or W’s for Whitecaps.
What do you think?

Overall I’d have to say that I think it is horrible. No imagination or passion seems to be evident and no positive emotional response was given by the 15 or 20 people I have asked about it.
There is always 2.0.
MUCH better.
Personally I think that there is too much emphasis on a shape that looks like mountains here.
The reverse or reflection doubling as a “W” or “V” seems like this was probably discovered by chance more than from creative ingenuity.
I’ve flipped my fair share of logos in my time too guys. The team is called White Caps, maybe they should change their name to Rockies.
I like the mountain motif and colours, but I think it’s a little wordy and too many sharp edges, but we’ll see. I just might get used to it …
