Selling your Creative, Not your Soul.
I’m speaking on October 22nd at Creative Mix. The line up of speakers is first rate and I’m really looking forward to the experience. I’ve been slotted in as the final speaker of the afternoon because my topic was deemed a good fit to wrap up the talks and kick start the Think & Drink party.
I’m going to be talking about Selling your Creative, Not your Soul.
Creativity comes in many shapes and forms. My creative outlet comes in the form of branding, advertising and design, but it’s also an extension of who I am both ethically and socially. Creativity, especially in the form of advertising can either be used for good or for evil so I’m careful to use it to promote companies and products that I believe in. Through process we are able to map out where the creative positioning needs to be and by expanding and contracting ideas we are able to produce creative that inspires, communicates and ultimately builds ones brand and drives their sales. It’s through this process that I’m able to continue to be creative again and again and again.
