What’s in season?

June 22nd, 2011 by Nicole Phillips

Ever wonder what foods are in season? We’ve worked together with the BC Dairy Foundation to create a guide to help you figure it all out. It also contained recipes and a contest to win a Kitchen Aid Mixer. The brochure was inserted in newspapers across the Lower Mainland.

If you didn’t get to pick up one of these in season guides, be sure to check it out online at www.cookingwithcream.com or download a copy here.

NBC Kills The Peacock

February 1st, 2011 by Nicole Phillips

If you haven’t heard already, NBC has decided to get rid of the classic peacock icon that it’s had for years.

What do you think? Good or bad move?

We’ve seen the little guy transform over the years from illustrations to animation, here’s a few samples:

Letterheads – Past and Present

January 28th, 2011 by Nicole Phillips

Letterheads… you know, that piece of paper people use to represent themselves, or their company via snail mail or fax. Sure, not too many people actually use them in 2011, (atleast in actual print format), but I do think they’re making a comeback, along with letter writing, but that’s a whole other topic of interest that needs to be discussed in the near future.

This wonderful little gem of a website shows off letterheads from the 1900’s, right through to the 80’s and into the 2000’s. It’s a great source of inspiration if you feel like your letterhead designs are in need of a refresh.

Ever wonder what Marylin Monroes Letterhead looked like? Or Dr. Suess?

Check out Letterheady.com for design inspiration.
